Akshay Kumar, Bollywood Actor To Work As Brand Ambassador Of Uttarakhand: CM Dhami

Akshay Kumar meets CM Dhami At His Residence

On Monday, Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar Meets Chief Minister Puskar Singh Dhami at his residence in Uttarakhand's Dehradun.

Akshay Kumar will work as a brand Ambassador for the Uttarakhand state. According to the statement given by the Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami said, "we had given him Akshay Kumar a proposal he has accepted.

He will also work as a brand ambassador of Uttarakhand."  Further, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister welcomed the Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar with the traditional cap of the state with gifts including the model of Char Dham of Uttarakhand and also wished him good luck for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttarakhand.

CM Dhami said that "Akshay Kumar is an artist as well as a good human being. We told him and he agreed. He will act as the brand ambassador for Uttarakhand."

Currently, the Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar is shooting for his next film in Mussoorie for the last few days. Amid the shooting, he went to CM Dhami's house and met him this morning.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Bachchan Pandey which will hit the screens on March 18. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji, the movie also stars Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez in key roles.

Apart from this, Akshay also has Ram Setu (along with Nushrat Bharucha), Selfie (along with Emraan Hashmi), and Prithviraj (with Manushi Chhillar) in his pipeline.

The five states gearing up ahead of the assembly elections, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, and Manipur - will go to the polls in the upcoming assembly elections.

The Assembly election in Uttarakhand will be held on February 14, 2022, and the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
