Captain Amarinder Singh, Former Punjab chief minister is likely to meet senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in the National capital today.

 

Due to upcoming Punjab election polls, the Chief Minister on Friday will discuss a possible seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming assembly elections in the northern state, Said PTI.

 

As per the information, Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Shekhawat net with Former Chief Minister, after on December 14 "Singh's party- Punjab like congress- and the BJP are likely to join hands for the elections. Both parties are like-minded and hold identical views on several issues "said the BJP in-charge of the Punjab assembly elections.

 

Former Punjab chief minister, resigned from the Congress party in September this year, amid a power tussle with the party's Punjab unit president navjot singh Sidhu.

 

As per the information, elections to 117 assembly seats in Punjab are to take place in 2022. Congress's won in 2017 by winning 77 seats and ousted the SAD-BJP government after a decade. Meanwhile, The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came as the second-largest party to win 20 out of total seats.

 

As per the statement given by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Ahead of the Punjab election, the Delhi government is also promising to construct schools in Punjab as same as Delhi, if the party comes in power. The Delhi CM slammed the party and targeted kid's education is hampered.
