America Will Provide Raw Material to India For Vaccine Manufacture

Relief news for India about Corona crisis and vaccine. White House said on Sunday that America is ready to help India. Under the leadership of President Joe Biden, the US will also provide the raw material for the Covishield vaccine.


The White House on Sunday said that the US administration will provide emergency aid to India in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, as well as immediate raw materials will be made available to the Indian manufacturer of Covishield vaccines. The US is working day and night to get it done.

The decision has been taken by the US after a talk over phone between US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval. After talks with both national security advisors, White House National Security Council spokeswoman Emily Horne said that the way India sent aid to the United States when our hospitals were struggling with the initial phase of the epidemic. Similarly, America is also ready to help India in this time of need. India requested the United States to supply raw materials for the production of Covishield vaccines. Emily Horne said that to protect India's front-line workers and  to help treat Covid-19 patients, the US has decided to provide equipment other than test kits, ventilators and PPE (personal protective equipment) kits to India. He said that the US is working on options to make oxygen production and related supplies available to India on an immediate basis. Joe Biden said this by tweeting, "The way India sent aid to the United States as our hospitals were struggling with the initial phase of the epidemic." In the same way, America is also ready to help India.

On the other hand, British High Commissioner Alex Ellis in India has promised to provide all help on behalf of Britain on Twitter. The British High Commissioner has been seen speaking in Hindi in a video message on his Twitter account. In the video, he says- 'The UK is with India at this time of crises". Prime Minister Boric Johnson has decided to send ventilators and oxygen contractors to India. In this fight with Corona, the UK is moving shoulder to shoulder with India.

Saudi Arabia and Singapore are also reported to have received a total of 9 containers from India, including 495 oxygen concentrators, 120 non-invasive ventilators and 20 manual ventilators. Apart from Britain, Singapore and Saudi Arabia have also voiced support for India. Saudi Arabia will send 80 metric tons of liquid oxygen to India. Prior to Saturday, the Air Force from Singapore also airlifted 4 oxygen tankers.
