Amit Shah To Release BJP Manifesto For Uttar Pradesh Polls

The release was extended Due to the Demise of Lata Mangeshkar


Union Home Minister, Amit Shah Will release the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manifesto for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections. 


According to the information, this ceremony will take place today(February 8) in Lucknow, earlier it was supposed to release on February 6 but due to the Demise of the legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar, it was postponed and is scheduled for today.

 

The manifesto will be launched in the presence of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, state election in-Charge Dharmendra Pradhan, co-in-charge Anurag Thakur, state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, president of Sankalp Patra Committee Dinesh Sharma, and others.

 

The BJP manifesto for UP polls will be released at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar at 10.30 am.


According to the statement, The Union Minister for Home and Cooperation, Amit Shah will release the BJP's 'Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra' on February 8, 2022, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.


As per the sources in the party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manifesto may include issues of nationalism, development, good governance, and the development of Kashi Mathura.

 


The Uttar Pradesh assembly polls will be held in seven Phases starting from February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7.  The counting of votes will take place on March 10.

The last assembly polls (in 2017) in Uttar Pradesh were held in seven phases wherein the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies had won 312 of the state’s 403 assembly constituencies.
