Amritpal Singh last seen in a cart with his bike, search still continues...

Singh’s wife and mother questioned...

The Punjab Police discovered the motorbike in which Waris Punjab De head Amritpal Singh was taken out of the gurdwara on Wednesday – his officially last known location – a new photo of him in a three-wheeler cart alongside the bike emerged. Apart from the driver of the motorised cart, Amritpal Singh appears to be with one of his accomplices in the alleged photograph. It's unclear whether the bike ran out of gas or encountered a technical malfunction.

The operation to apprehend the Khalistan sympathiser generated various doubts, as Amritpal Singh, according to the Punjab Police, managed to elude capture.

Police previously released seven images of Amritpal Singh in various poses, claiming that he may have changed his appearance to deceive the cops.

The police arrived in Amritsar on Wednesday and questioned Amritpal Singh's family members, including his mother Balwinder Kaur and wife Kirendeep Kaur. Amritpal Singh married NRI Kirandeep Kaur in a small ceremony in February. Kirendeep used to live in the United Kingdom, but Amritpal stated that after the wedding, his wife will join him in Punjab. According to reports, Kirandeep's name has surfaced in the process of acquiring foreign financing for Waris Punjab De.

During the chase on Saturday, Amritpal Singh switched vehicles to avoid the cops, first in his Mercedes and then in a Brezza SUV. He rode a motorcycle from the gurudwara, where he changed his clothes, and was afterwards observed on a motorized three-wheeler cart. Amritpal Singh appears to be wearing goggles and a pink turban in the claimed images of him leaving.
