Army Chief’s Statement Amidst Rising Border Tensions.

Army Chief Bipin Rawat issues statement.

On Monday, General Bipin Rawat the Chief of the Defence Staff  stated that no stone will be left unturned by the Indian armed forces to protect India's border lines be it at the land, air or the oceans.

At the launch of the 17-A Frigate Warship from GRSE Yard, CSD  in Kolkata West Bengal Rawat said “China’s attempt to change the status quo at the LAC along the northern border amidst the COVID-19 pandemic necessitates high level preparation on land, air and sea.” He added “I am fully confident that the Indian Armed Forces will leave no stone unturned to safeguard our frontiers be it at land, air or ocean.”

The Chief of the Defence Staff said that the government’s attempt to promote Make In India through its policies and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat to ensure wide-ranging defence contracts are brought into action by the Indian firms with generating employment in our own country.
