Army’s Combat Drones Fly First Time In Public

Army day celebrated

On Army Day the Indian Army demonstrated a swarm of combat drones in public for the first time ever at the annual Army Day parade in Delhi on Friday. All the 75 drones were developed indigenously and during the parade the 15 drones flew together in large swarms showcasing their capabilities and potency. The incredible moment was shared to the public by a prominent news agency of the country. The drones can penetrate up to 50Kms behind the lines of the enemies and create havoc while the operators of the drones can stay in safety.

India today celebrates the 73rd Army Day and the Army Chief General M M Naravane on the occasion sends a strong message to China where he said that while the Indian Army is fully committed to resolve the issues through dialogues and political efforts, no one should try to test India’s patience. The Army Chief had also spoken about Pakistan where he said that the country in the neighborhood also continuously provides safe heaven to the terrorists.

The government strongly supports the initiative of developing the drone in the country as a part of the Maki In India programme which encourages the defence manufacturers to focus on the major research and development process of the Indian armed forces toward the requirements of next-generation.
