Arvind Kejriwal's 7 promises to Goa youth

Arvind Kejriwal assured 80 percent job quota for locals in the private sector and an unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000.


Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal gave seven assurances to the people of Goa on Tuesday including 80 percent job quota for locals in the private sector and an unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000. The party is preparing for the state Assembly Elections that are to be held next year.

Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal assured that if their party comes to power in the state, they would provide one job per family and give Rs 5,000 per month to the ones who are unemployed and got affected due to Covid-19 as the tourism industry suffered a lot during the pandemic.

The AAP chief also guaranteed a monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 to those who lost their jobs due to restrictions and bans on the mining industry. He also offered to start a skill university in the state.

Mr. Kejriwal made similar promises in other two states, Punjab and Uttarakhand, where also Assembly Elections are to be held next year.
