Ashoka University launches “Young Scholars Programme” for High School Students

“Young Scholars Programme” for High School Students launched by Ashoka University


Ashoka University on Thursday launched the “ Young Scholars Programme” a summer program for High School students to liberal arts and sciences education. A five-day-long program starting on June 14 and ending on June 18. The scheme will provide close learning participation by world-class power to the students.

YSP has a range of activities including faculty lectures, workshops, and debate groups all in an effective manner. YSP is for good school students studying in classes 9,10,11 and 12, with its unique interdisciplinary coursework taught by world-class faculty, this program is an outstanding introduction to the cultivation of arts and sciences. This is also a model to both range and depth of associative at Ashoka University.Earlier it was launched in 2016, the program has grown 35% year-on-year to reach over 1250 students. Ashoka, at present it layout it's offering a deeper study of subjects in its YSP-modern version, to traverse social impact and change at the YSP-Urban Lab. Applicants' process will be online with submitting their high school marks along with an article. YSP also provides monetary support to students and has associated with several NGO groups which transmitted its students for the program.

In a statement, Faculty Head of Global Education & Strategic Programs and founder of YSP at Ashoka University, said, “It is most satisfying to see the young students come into the program and have a life-changing perception at YSP. Every student takes hold of  individual significance for their educational  journey from their time here.”

Overall , YSP builds up usefulness to the student’s viewpoint and schooling. It authorizes them to grow and communicate their ideas logically and appealingly.
