At AIIMS hospital fire broke out, patients evacuated

Total of 8 fire tenders are engaged to douse the fire.....


On Monday afternoon, fire broke out in the emergency ward of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, following which several fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

 

A fire call was received from the emergency ward of AIIMS 11.54 am, an official said, adding that a total of 8 fire tenders are engaged to douse the fire.

 

The fire broke out in the endoscopy room of the hospital, and all the patients were evacuated, ANI reported.

 

The public medical research university and hospital is located at Sri Aurobindo Marg in Delhi's Ansari Nagar East, and is among India's best medical institutes.
