Ayodhya is making all the necessary preparations for the fourth celebrations of the grand Deepotsav established by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath in 2017.Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and the commencement of  Ram temple construction the preparations are in full swing to make it a historic and memorable event. The celebrations went on for 5-7  days previous year though this year it will only be held for 3 days.

"Mission Shakti campaign ", a grand cultural evening will be be organised, during the celebrations ; a major participation of women will also be witnessed to promote this campaign.

According to the officials,  the cultural culture department has prepared a road map for this and has started to work on it to make this festival a grand one. Women artists in Uttar Pradesh and other states will make Ayodhya a center of grand celebrations on the occasion of the coronation ceremony of Lord Ram returning from exile.

According to the chief secretary, Avneesh Awasthi "The fourth deepotsav will promote 'Mission Shakti' through these cultural programs ,the theme of the celebration will  be based on women empowerment ". Hundreds of women will showcase their talent at all the events like Ramleela at Ram Katha Park this year and most of them are involved in the lighting of the lamps as at the main event held on the banks of Saryu river.

Officials said that" All the COVID-19 related protocols are under view and all the roads leading to the very river and Ram Janmabhoomi will be barricaded, nobody other than the invites will be allowed. The main event will start at 3 p.m. on November 13th and it will broadcast live on public address systems and will be shown on 70 LED vans in Ayodhya . The state broadcaster Doordarshan will also telecast its live coverage.
