On Friday, World famous astrologer and Ayushmann Khurrana's father, P Khurrana, passed away.
He was admitted to a Fortis hospital two days ago in Punjab where he took his last breath.
He was survived by his wife and both sons. P. Khurrana passed away on May 19.
His last rites were performed at Manimajra cremation ground in Chandigarh on Friday.
An official statement from Aparshakti Khurana’s spokesperson read, "It’s with deep sadness to inform you that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, Astrologer P Khurana passed away this morning at 10:30 am in Mohali, owing to a prolonged incurable ailment.
We are thankful for all your prayers and support during this time of this irreplaceable loss."
Both Ayushmann and Aparshakti often posted heartfelt posts for their father, P Khurrana.
In 2020, wishing him a Happy birthday on May 18, Ayushmann had written, "Happy birthday to the world’s best father!
You gave me all the wings, talent, and ambition to grow higher. I will not tell everyone your age. Because they won’t believe it. Jai jai (sic)."
