Bharat Jodi Yatra Begins its Third Day in Haryana

Colourful procession in Haryana...

On Saturday the Yatra marched forward from Gharonda in Karnal which saw supporters waving the national flag, carrying posters and dancing to songs. The procession also saw supporters playing drums along the way. The supporters were very excited and came out to be a part of this event despite the cold waves blowing over the entire Northern India including Haryana.

The Yatra had also covered over 130kms of Haryana in its first phase when it passed through Nuh, Faridabad and Gurugram between 21-23 December 2022.

The Yatra that started from Kanyakumari on 7th September last year has covered parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, and Haryana. It will then culminate in Jammu and Kashmir. The Yatra is expected to go through Gharonda, Madhuban and then halt for the night at Uchana in the district.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra that entered Haryana’s Panipat district on 5 January evening from Uttar Pradesh is expected to spend 5 days in the state before moving on to Punjab on 10 January. From there the Yatra will move on to Jammu and Kashmir where it will finally come to an end after Gandhi hosts the National Flag at Srinagar on 30th January.
