Prize Glory: Faruqui Secures Trophy, Car, and Rs 50 Lakh Cash Reward

Munawar Faruqui secured the Bigg Boss Season 17 title, triumphing over actor Abhishek Kumar in the live voting results revealed on Sunday in Mumbai.

In addition to Faruqui and Kumar, the finale featured competition from actors Mannara Chopra and Ankita Lokhande, along with social media personality Arun Mahashetty, as the three contestants vied for the trophy.

Superstar Ajay Devgn made a special appearance on the final episode of the latest season, which aired on the Colors channel. The eviction sequence in the finale saw Arun as the first contestant to leave the Bigg Boss house, followed by Ankita and Mannara.

Superstar Salman Khan, the host of Bigg Boss, declared Faruqui as the champion, who received a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh along with a car.

Faruqui's victory was anticipated by many on social media. The comedian gained attention in 2021 after being imprisoned for over a month due to remarks on Hindu deities during a stand-up show, sparking controversy over alleged religious sentiments.

In 2022, Faruqui secured another victory, triumphing in the first season of the reality TV show Lock Upp, hosted by actor Kangana Ranaut.

Throughout his time on Bigg Boss Season 17, Faruqui captivated both fellow housemates and viewers with his wit and charm. His personal life became a constant topic of discussion throughout the show.
