Ahead of the upcoming elections in the poll bound state Gujarat. The leaders and the political party members are gearing up to visit the state to meet party leaders and members to discuss the voting scenario and preparations ahead of the election.


On Wednesday, Bharatiya Janata Party chief J P Nadda will hold meetings with senior Gujarat BJP leaders at the state party headquarters in Gandhinagar , a local party leader said.


As per the Information, JP Nadda is on a two-day visit to BJP-ruled Gujarat from Tuesday ahead of the state Assembly elections due in December this year.


On Wednesday, the BJP president will hold meetings with senior Gujarat BJP leaders at the party headquarters, Shree Kamalam, in state capital Gandhinagar, the party said.


Further the information stated, He will also address professors at Tagore Hall in Ahmedabad and talk about BJP's ideology, it said.


On Tuesday, Nadda addressed a gathering of the Gujarat BJP's elected representatives in local urban and panchayat bodies in Rajkot city. He had asked party cadres in the state not to worry about the forthcoming Assembly elections, stating that their party is the only one which has an ideology.


The Gujarat Legislative Assembly Elections 2022 will be held in December to elect 182 members of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. In the last elections, the Congress was the main challenger and the party put up a good show against the ruling BJP.


This time the BJP will have to face a challenge from the Aam Aadmi Party and in the wake of the party putting up a stellar show in Punjab, the fight promises to be an interesting one. 


In the previous elections, the BJP bagged 99 seats in the assembly where the magic number is 92, while the Congress ended up with 77 seats.
