NEW DELHI: Karan Banka, a 25-year-old Delhi BJP leader, shot himself dead at a residence in south Delhi's Greater Kailash neighborhood on Saturday, an official said.

 

Banka served as the party's Mahamantri in the Delhi state chapter of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM), which he was affiliated with.

 

A top Delhi Police official claims that the police learned late on Friday that Banka, who lived in the Greater Kailash neighborhood, had fallen in the bathroom, had a head injury, and had been taken to Max Hospital in Saket.
