BJP National President JP Nadda calls a meeting of national office-bearers in Delhi

Today's meeting has been called to discuss and assign duties to the office-bearers for upcoming assembly polls in five states.


Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda called a meeting of national office-bearers at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Monday ahead of the assembly elections. According to ANI, the meeting is being attended by the national general secretary of the BJP (organisational) BL Santhosh, national general secretary Arun Singh and Dushyant Gautam and national secretaries, Vinod Tawde and Harish Dwivedi. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Goa's party in-charge and national vice-president or general secretaries are also attending the meeting.

Since JP Nadda became the party president in January 2020, this is the first in-person meeting of the national office-bearers with him. State Assembly elections are due to be held in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Punjab and Manipur in 2022.
