BJP Plans Campaign to educate farmers


With the farmer’s ‘Delhi Chalo’ peaceful protest entering Day 16 today, The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to release a campaign in favor of the farm reforms amid the ongoing agitation by the farmers and farm unions. The BJP will be launching a counter campaign against the farmers’ protest and will be spreading awareness about the farm laws introduced by the Center recently.The Campaign will comprise of Kisan Sammelans and chaupals at over 100 locations across the nation to talk about the new reforms.

The Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) has challenged the farm laws at the Supreme Court that was recently passed at the Parliament. The intensity of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ protest has grown as the protesting farmers now plan to block all highways leading to Delhi. On December 14 the protestors also declared that they will gherao (surround) all BJP offices and leaders in the capital city.
