BJP Releases its Manifesto ahead of assembly elections!


On Thursday, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto in Manipur,  for upcoming assembly elections in the poll-bound state. 

 

As per the details in the manifesto, the BJP promises for free two-wheelers to meritorious female college students, additionally increasing the monthly pension for senior citizens to Rs 1,000 and setting up a Rs 100 crore start-up fund.

 

According to the statement given by BJP National President JP Nadda said, "Free scooty will be given to all meritorious college-going girls to empower the women of the state," adding more he also said, "Laptops will be also be provided to all meritorious students who pass class 12, as a gateway to higher education."

 

Further, The BJP also promised Rs 25,000 to girls from economically weaker sections under the 'Rani Gaidinliu Nupi Maheiroi Singi Scheme' if voted back to power.

 

Adding more, the party announced two free LPG cylinders per year to the beneficiaries of the PM Ujjwala scheme if the party comes into power in the state.

 

During the Releasing of the Manipur's BJP Manifesto, BJP national president JP Nadda said that under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh the state has headed towards development in the last five years, further said, tackling the drug menace and achieving stability with rule of law being established.

 

Along with this, chief minister, senior BJP leader Sambit Patra, state BJP president A Sharda Devi and Union minister Rajkumar Ranjan Singh were present at the program.
