In the evening hours of 29 March 2023 Jammu and Kashmir experienced a blast in the Hiranagar area of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir, located along the international border (IB) of India and Pakistan.
According to the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of Jammu, Mukesh Singh informed that an explosion sound was heard near BPP Sanyal village that caused panic among the villagers. He further added that, after receiving the information about the blast, the police rushed to the spot and began their investigation. No injuries or movements of people have been reported so far.
The forensic team has collected samples from the area, and further investigation is underway.
