Body of missing 9-year-old boy found after 2 days

Body of missing 9-year-old boy was found stuffed in plastic bag in a neighborhood in Dwarka. His family who lives in Uttam Nagar had lodged a missing complaint on Monday. On Wednesday afternoon his body was found inside a house with injury marks on his neck and other parts of the body. The body was found on the second floor and the house was vacant.

The family received ransom calls from an unknown number said DCP Dwarka, Shankar Chaudhary. They traced the number and the man whose name is in it, Bipin Bhandari (28) denied any such allegations. On searching his house nothing was found. The police apprehended two more suspects who live near Bhandari’s room. All the detainees are being questioned.

Prima facie, the boy was strangled to death said an officer. A case of kidnapping was registered and based on enquiry all areas were searched. CCTV cameras installed in and around the area are being scanned to identify the culprits. Further investigation will be done once the autopsy result is received and the case will be probed from all angles, said the police.
