Bomb threat received in a school

Immediately the school was evacuated and searching was started.....


On May 16 bomb threat via e-mail given to a school in South Delhi's Pushp Vihar, according to the police. 

 

2 Bomb Disposal teams along with dogs and local staff manually searched the school but nothing suspicious was found, it was a hoax call," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Rajesh Deo had told ANI.

 

Investigation is ongoing, police along with teams are present at the spot, according to the report.

 

Chandan Chowdhary, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Delhi informed that the school has been thoroughly checked through BDT (Bomb Disposal Team) and nothing has been found. 

 

Immediately the school was evacuated and searching was started of the building but nothing suspicious was found till now, an officer told.

 

The cases of schools receiving bomb threats has been increasing in recent times. Recently, Delhi Public School, Mathura Road received bomb threat which was later found to be a hoax after the police found nothing suspicious.
