Bombay High Court sends Raj Kundra to judicial custody for 14 days

The Bombay High Court has denied the Crime Branch custody of Mr Kundra.


Bombay High Court sent businessman and bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty's husband, Raj Kundra in 14 days of judicial custody in connection with allegedly producing pornographic content and publishing them on HotShots app. The High Court has denied the Crime Branch custody of Mr Kundra. He was arrested last week on Monday, that is, on July 19 and has been in police custody since then.

Mr Kundra's lawyer has moved the High Court for his bail and the hearing for the plea will take place on Wednesday, reported TOI. Reportedly, two State Bank of India's accounts of Mr Kundra have been seized in Kanpur. The SBI officials said that Mumbai Crime Branch had directed the bank to seize the accounts in which crores of rupees had been deposited, according to TOI.
