Cab Driver in Delhi Attacked and Killed

A 43-year-old taxi driver in Delhi's Mahipalpur area lost his life as he was pulled for nearly 200 meters along the road, an incident that was captured on camera.

 

According to the police, the driver, identified as Bijendra, a resident of Faridabad who worked as a taxi driver, was discovered in a critical condition on the road with a severe head injury at approximately 11:30 pm on Tuesday night.

 

Bijendra, a taxi driver, was driving in Mahipalpur when some robbers tried to steal his taxi. He bravely resisted, but the robbers hit him with the taxi and dragged him for over 200 meters, which sadly caused his death.

 

The video footage clearly depicts Bijendra being dragged at a high speed by the taxi on the Delhi-Gurugram highway, close to Mahipalpur.

 

The Delhi Police has officially accused the suspects of murder and trying to hide evidence. They're now searching for these suspects using six different teams since they're currently on the run.
