Capital may witness rise in temperature in next few days

Light rain on Sunday has been predicted by IMD.

The maximum temperature is likely to rise by three to four degrees Celsius in Delhi in the next few days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday. However, light rain on Sunday has also been predicted by IMD due to the influence of a fresh western disturbance affecting the hilly region.

On Friday, the maximum temperature of Delhi was 31.6 degrees Celsius which is five notches above normal and it may rise to 34 degrees Celsius by Monday, as per the IMD. Talking about the minimum temperature, the IMD said that it may also increase by two to three degrees Celsius over the next few days.
