A family from Saharsa in Bihar was returning from Delhi on Holi. The husband and wife and son were riding the same car. As soon as his car reached near the Dumariya bridge of Mahmadpur police station, a mini truck loaded with chili coming from the front hit the ground. There was chaos after the accident. Two people sitting in the car died on the spot in a horrific collision, while two people were rushed to the hospital for treatment with the help of local people, where they too succumbed. Mahmudpur Police Station Mithilesh Kumar Pandey, who came to know about the incident, said that the crashed mini truck and car have been seized by the police. The process of sending the dead bodies to Sadar Hospital Gopalganj for postmortem is underway. No FIR has been filed against anyone in the case yet.
