CBSE class 10 results out

CBSE class 10 results out, over 2.5 lakh students score above 90% marks.


On Tuesday (3rd August) Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the result of the class 10 board examinations.According to the CBSE, the overall percentage of girls is 99.24 whereas for boys is 98.89 per cent. Whereas 57, 824 students scored above 95 per cent marks and 2,00,962 have scored between 90-95 per cent.

According to Satyam Bharadwaj, CBSE examination controller, said "The result of 16,639 students is still under process. No merit list will be declared this year and no merit certificates will be issued to students." He also said The percentage of private schools has increased by over six per cent since last year. The compartment examinations will be conducted between 16 August and September 15. The exact dates will be announced in some time.

As per the policy 20 marks for each subject were for internal assessment as every year, 80 marks calculated on basis of the student's performance in various tests or exams throughout the year.
