CBSE delays 2021 board exams

CBSE has delayed Class 10 and 12 board exams for the year 2021.


Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has delayed the examination date of Class 10 and 12. The examination will start from May 4 till June 10 and the results will be announced on July 15, said Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Thursday.Every year exams are held from January till February and results are announced in March but as Mr Nishank had eliminated the option of exams being conducted till February due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools conducted online pre-board examination due to uncertainty. “The board exams for Class 10 and 12 will be conducted from May 4 to June 10. Schools will be allowed to conduct practical exams from March 1.

Date sheet for both the classes will be issued soon. The results will be declared by July 15,” said Mr Nishank. Mr Nishank clarified doubts of students and added that the students will get more time for preparation of the examination.
