Draupadi Murmu’s village before the results, 20 thousand laddus made
Draupadi Murmu’s NDA’S presidential candidate hails from the Rairangpur area of the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. As the counting of presidential votes began today and is ongoing the villagers of Murmu’s hometown are preparing 20 thousand Laddus for her victory even before the results are declared.
The villagers believe in Murmu’s victory with their all. The counting of presidential votes is held for today and is underway. The villagers have planned to. Celebrate Murmu’s yet-to-be-announced victory or defeat by distributing 20 thousand laddus all over the village and a celebration will be held. A resident of the same place said in an interview with the press that she is happy that Murmu’s contesting for the prestigious position and that they are all very happy to celebrate Murmu’s win and that 20 thousand laddus are prepared out of sheer happiness by the villagers.
They said Draupadi Murmu the daughter of a tribal family from Odisha will be announced as the president of India later today and that it will be a matter of pride and joy for not only us but the entire village. A local said, “The laddus are being made using desi ghee and dry fruits. The sweet will be distributed outside Murmu’s house after the result is declared,”.
He then added, “We have urged the leaders of all political parties to participate in the celebration planned outside Didi (Murmu)’s house. Over 10 quintals of laddos have been made to mark the victory,”.The entire village respects Murmu so much and are so encouraged by her potential win that another local, a student of the village said, “We address Murmu as Apa. She is like our elder sister. We hope she will emerge victorious and hold the topmost constitutional post,”.
