Centre to provide 12 crore vaccine doses to state and UT's in July. The release from Health Ministry also stated that, the states are being informed about the upcoming Covid-19 vaccine doses in advance.


On Wednesday, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) said that the state and union territories of India are set to receive 12 crore Covid-19 vaccines in July. According to the press release, it said that " based on the discussion with the manufacturers, the Ministry had communicated to all states and union territories that they will receive more than 12 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine. "The release from the health ministry also added that states are being informed about the incoming Covid-19 vaccine doses in advance.  

According to the Ministry, it said: "further, all states have also been requested to share likely indicative demand in case more doses of vaccine are required by them because of increased coverage" it also added "The states and union territories have been advised to plan their Covid-19 vaccination session on the availability of Covid-19 vaccine. "
