CHANGES IN DEHLI EDUCATION BOARD

FOUCUS ON VOCCATIONAL EDUCATION...

Education base in India seems to change this New Year as Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia talks about changing education system in Delhi Board of School Education.

“Education in India comprises very much of rote learning and memorization, has to change immediately; education should be more focused on skill sets”, Says, Sisodia.

“The education system is limited to 3 hour long annual examination where a student’s mental capability to judge memorization skills is tested and not the intellectual capacity to understand or demonstrate concept. This education pattern can only be revised with new education board whose syllabus will framed on a skill based system and not traditional rote learning”, further he added.

The exact date when this board will be launched has not been disclosed yet but preparations are in progress. This major decision announced by Manish Sisodia is an enormous step of reformation in the Indian Education system.
