Finally, the most enthralling part of the day ended with bewitching and enormous victory for Mumbai Indians against Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets. The stress buster IPL 2020 bid adieu to fans and especially enlightening the spirits of Mumbai Indians' fans after they lifted the cup of IPL 2020. The game was a nail biting one and the finale turned completely in favour of Mumbai due to their impeccable performance. They outlived Delhi in both the departments and snatched the trophy even before 20 overs.

The match was LIVE from Dubai International Stadium and started with DC winning the toss and choosing to bat. They accumulated a decent target of 157 runs on a loss of 7 wickets which was quite incompetent on Final day but no wonder they could have stretched to this extent only. Mumbai claimed the win in 18.4 overs.

Both Captains forwarded their best foot to win the game. MI skipper Rohit Sharma smashed 68 off 51 deliveries hitting 5 fours and 4 sixes. While Shreyas Iyer too gathered 65 runs off 50 balls but efforts went in vain. Rishabh Pant knocked 56 off 38 balls. Mumbai indeed played amazing and threatening from the very start of innings. Kishan sustained the form hitting 33 runs off 19 balls.

Man of the match Trent Boult uprooted 3 wickets in 4 overs dragging the team closer to the trophy on Final day. He ducked the crucial wicket of Marcus Stoinis and dismissed Rahane and Hetmyer. Nathan Coulter Nile took 2 wickets making a valuable contribution to the game. The win was commendable and marked Mumbai's identity in history after their 5th win. Jofra Archer from Rajasthan Royals won the title of Player of the tournament after his astonishing performance throughout.

KL Rahul, the Kings XI Punjab Skipper was crowned with Orange Cap hitting 670 runs this season in 14 matches. Dhawan was deprived of the honour by an inch or so. Kagiso Rabada claimed the Purple cap taking 30 wickets in this season. The orange and purple cap standings were quite unperturbed due to  excellent performance of the players. The IPL season 2020 ended and fans need to explore some other recreation now but we hope to see the same thrill and excitement next season in person defeating the pandemic restraining us.
