New Delhi: from April 26, the flyover will be fully open as the repair work on the Chirag Dilli flyover has been completed. On Tuesday Public Works Department minister Atishi said as frequent rain in the past month, the construction work of the flyover had to be halted many times.

However, PWD showed its commitment by working round the clock and completing the work ahead of the schedule," said the minister.

Providing relief from traffic jams to the people of Delhi is the Kejriwal government's top priority. Now that the work on both carriageways has been completed, the flyover will be open for traffic from tomorrow, Atishi said.

Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal himself kept watch the maintenance work of the flyover.

Now easily vehicles can move on the stretch, said an official. Chirag Dilli flyover had been completed fully on April 24.
