US lawmaker to visit India...
The United States Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer expected to visit India for a personal visit with their high-profile delegation of senate Democrats for the meetings with the Indian political leaders and business leaders.
As per the official statement, the Senate Democrats are looking for arrangements for the visit to India in the upcoming week, and the top lawmaker will be visiting many countries. It is also mentioned that they are expected to stay for one or two more days and will visit other cities too apart from New Delhi.
Besides this, US Commerce Secretary Gina Riamondo's visit to India is scheduled in the March to co-chair the US-India CEO forum and US-India commercial dialogue meeting with Piyush Goyal (India's commerce and industry minister).
However, national security advisor Ajit Doval recently completed his visit to the United States during which India and US launched a program to enhance their strategic partnership.
