In the meeting with Prime Minister Modi, the Education Minister informed that the CBSE Board 12th examinations, which were to be held from May 4 to June 14, have been postponed for the time being. The new date sheet for these exams will be released later. However, the status for conducting these exams will be assessed on June 1, 2021. Also, the candidates will be given at least 15 days’ time for preparation.
In the meeting held with the Prime Minister today, it has been decided to evaluate the students on the basis of internal assessment along with the cancellation of the CBSE Board's 10th examinations. However, the government has given the facility to these students that they will be given an opportunity to attend the 10th board exams at an appropriate time later.
