CM Arvind Kejriwal inaugurates 500-ICU bed hospital ready in Ramlila Maidan

The 500-bed temporary hospital, which is being built in Ramlila Maidan in front of Lok Nayak Hospital, will start in two to three days.


The temporary hospital at Ramlila Maidan in GTB Enclave in East Delhi has been completed. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will inaugurate it on Tuesday (Today). On Monday, the Chief Minister along with Health Minister Satyendar Jain and Rajendra Pal Gautam visited the temporary hospital being constructed at Ramlila Maidan in front of GTB Enclave and Lok Nayak Hospital and reviewed the arrangements.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that a temporary hospital with 500 ICU beds has been ready in Ramlila Ground of GTB Enclave. It has been linked to GTB Hospital. This hospital has been built in ten days. It will cost about 22 metric tons of oxygen here. For this, oxygen tankers have been parked outside the hospital.

He informed that very soon more than one thousand oxygen cylinders will come to the government. There has been a severe shortage of ICU beds during Corona's second. In view of this, this hospital has been prepared. He informed that the 500-bed temporary hospital, being built in Ramlila Maidan in front of Lok Nayak Hospital, will start in two to three days. After the commencement of these two hospitals, there will be no shortage of ICU beds in the capital.
