On Wednesday, Congress cancelled all the political rallies of Uttar Pradesh. This decision came to focus after some shocking visuals were shared on social media and other platforms where numerous women and teenage girls were seen attending the rally without wearing face masks. This incident took place yesterday at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.

 

As per the information, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also cancelled his rally in Noida which was supposed to take place on Thursday.

 

Few people were injured after a "stampede-like situation" which took place during a marathon organized by the party in Bareilly. The event was held as part of the congress party's "ladki hoon, lad Sakti hoon". Assembly election campaign. 

 

The video went viral on social media where a large number of participants of the long-distance run had gathered around 9 am at a school ground and video witnesses that in a rush to race ahead participants stumbled and fell upon each other. No social distancing, no face mask, no appropriate Covid behavior was followed during the rally.

 

According to the information, the Election commission of India visited three times to check the scenario of the state and said the political parties in the state wanted the polls to be held on time.

 

The Covid cases are increasing which is creating an alarming situation in the Country. The daily surge of Omicron cases has touched a peak. The state government and UTs are implementing restrictions and guidelines to curb the infection level and minimise public gatherings in the respective states.
