Congress To Launch 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' In Kanyakumari

The 150-day 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' will be launched at around 5 pm!

Ahead of the 2024 polls, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is all gearing up with Massive Rally “Bharat Jodo Yatra”

As per the information, The 150-day 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' will be launched at around 5 pm with a rally in Kanyakumari, and the 'padyatra' or march will begin on Thursday morning. The 3,500 kilometre-long-yatra will be covered in nearly 150 days.

As per the information, Led by Rahul Gandhi, Congress workers and leaders will walk around six-seven hours every day to cover 12 states and two union territories over the next 150 days. 

Further the information stated that Mr Gandhi will walk all the way - from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, where the yatra will conclude. All state unit presidents would organise the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in their respective states in solidarity with Mr Gandhi, the party said in a statement.

A total of 118 "Bharat Yatris" will walk the entire route along with Mr Gandhi. About 50,000 citizens have also registered to participate in the Yatra.

According to the statement given, The Congress says the yatra is the party's biggest ever 'Jan Samparka programme' during which they will try to connect with the common people on various issues, including inflation, price rise and unemployment.
