Congress Urges PM to Provide Rs 6,000 Per Month to poor states under lockdown


The leader of the Indian National Congress Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Sunday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to provide ? 6,000 per month to the poor and needy in various states under lockdown.As seeing the view of the epidemic it has already become difficult for the poor people, in daily, daily wagers and the marginalized sections also in the through time due to unemployment they face many difficulties.

Adhir Ranjan suggested that the center should provide free food grains to the needy and give ? 6000 per month to all the jobless people. The center should also transfer rs 6,000 every month to the bank account of poor people of the states under lockdown. Moreover, this not only helps them out but also for the economics as providing a good effect on the economy.The condition of the nation getting worse, he called this,” spiraling out of control". Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also tweeted, in telling the Prime Minister should be addressed to the nation telling to be confident in this situation and Should not hesitate to resort to any option including strict lockdown.

He also urged Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to schedule an early meeting of the Public Accounts Committee to talk about the pandemic situation and the government's COVID-19 vaccination policy. He also wrote a letter earlier to Birla and President Ram Nath Kovind requesting a special session of the Parliament to discuss the health emergency due to COVID-19.
