COVID 19 APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED BY PM: NARENDRA MODI

ON THURSDAY JAN ANDOLAN CAMPAIGN WAS LAUNCHED.


India's COVID cases are incessantly on a rise and over 72,000 new cases are reported in every 24 hours.Prime minister, Narendra Modi launched a "Jan Andolan" campaign on Thursday.The main aim of initiating this plan was to encourage and promote about covid 19 appropriate behaviours towards upcoming events, festivals, winter season and opening up of the economy which may hamper harshly if not taken seriously. Delhi chief minister,Arvind Kejriwal,announced about the reopening  of cinema halls, theatres, and  weekly markets  to be opened after the unlock 5.0

According to the ministry of information and Broadcasting, its release said that"By the way, a tweet on Thursday will launch a low-cost high-intensity campaign to encourage people's participation in following  covid19  appropriate behaviour".The key message in the campaign was regarding wearing a mask, keeping social distance, and maintaining hygiene.Further said that "The campaign will focus on awareness-raising and will be done via television, hoarding boards,by painting walls, audio, pamphlets and brochures and via many other platforms".

All the local and national influencers will be involved in this process to drive for awareness.After the first lockdown which was announced on 25th of March,2020, later extended till 31st May in various phases and unlock process began from 1st of June, and now after relieving some of the major department and reopening of religious,commercial and social places.
