Separate gates are being set up for entry as well as exit in view of Covid-19.

The Covid-19 pandemic had led to the closure of all kinds of public gatherings as well as all types of events. It had also led to the closure of marriage halls which had been converted into Covid-19 care centres. The marriages were supposed to happen according to the respective state guidelines, with a maximum of 50 per cent capacity.

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Wednesday issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) stating banquet halls in the national capital are now permitted to hold exhibitions and fairs. Adding more, it said, organisers will have to follow the SOP issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Meanwhile, if any violation is found, strict action will be initiated.

Whereas separate gates are being set up for entry as well as exit. The halls will be sanitized and disinfected as per the guidelines. According to the SOP, persons who will be manning stalls are required to have the Arogya Setu app installed in their mobile phones.

Meanwhile, Delhi is witnessing a slowdown in Covid-19 cases and gradually things are returning to normal.
