Deadly Bus Crash in Thailand Claims 14 Lives

Loss and Injury as Vehicle Hits Tree


In Thailand, a bus lost control, colliding with a tree in Bangkok, resulting in the tragic loss of 14 lives and leaving over 20 passengers injured, as reported by the state-owned Transport Company on Tuesday.

 

The tragic accident took place at half past midnight in the western province of Prachuap Khiri Khan in Thailand.

 

State broadcaster ThaiPBS reported that the front of the bus was split in half following the crash.

 

Rescuers were observed extracting passengers from the wreckage, responding to the aftermath of the crash.

 

"All those injured are currently receiving treatment at the hospital," stated the official release, noting that an investigation into the causes of the accident is underway.
