Death threat to Dhirendra Shastri

The accused of the threat call is yet to be identified


Dhirendra Shastri, a self-made godman who is well known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar received a death threat over the call in the morning hours of 24 January 2023.

As per the information shared by the superintendent of police (SP) Sachin Sharma, the accused is not yet identified and they further mentioned that a case got registered under the sections 506 and 507 of the Indian penal code (IPC) against the unknown person in Chhatarpur Bamitha Police station.

After the event on 20 January, a Maharashtra-based organisation challenged the Bageshwar Dham Sarkar to show his powers by performing the miracle at the event in Nagpur. In response to the challenge, Shastri said that the people who doubt him can come to the court and see for themselves, further he also stated that whatever inspires him he will write and that comes true because he has faith in God.

Dhirendra Shastri came to light because of his controversial statement that he got the support he will give them a Hindu nation and as long as he lives, he will make all Sanatan Hindus return to their original faith.
