Delhi air quality at very poor

AQI at 311


On Monday, the air quality index (AQI)  continued to remain very poor. The air quality index (AQI) of the city stood at 311.


 

As per the system of air quality and weather forecasting and research ( SAFAR) it has also issued an advisory to reduce heavy exertion and also predicted the Air quality index of the city will deteriorate to 321 and will remain very poor.


 

An Air Quality Index (AQI) between zero and 59 is considered good, 51 and 100 are satisfactory, 101 to 299 is moderate, 201 to 300 is poor and 301 to 400 is very poor and 401 to 500 is severe. 

 

The National capital is reeling under incessant pollution levels. The government has implemented guidelines and initiatives to curb the pollution level of the city.  Meanwhile, more smog towers and other installations in the capital city will take place to minimize the impact of pollution.
