Delhi Air Quality Worsen Day by Day...

Air Quality "Very Poor"


Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘ very poor ’ order with an overall AQI of 346 amid raging ranch fires in Punjab. An AQI of over 400 is considered ‘ severe' and can affect healthy people and seriously impact those with being ails.

According to central pollution control board( CPCB) Delhi’s Anand vihar recorded under the “ severe ” order.

According to the last streamlined Air Quality Index( AQI) at 8 am, Anand Vihar’s average AQI was 458 which falls in the ‘ severe ’ order on a scale up to 500.

According to forecasting agency SAFAR, the share of stubble burning in Delhi’s PM2.5 pollution increased to 32 per cent due to favourable transport-level wind speed on Wednesday.

Noida had AQI of 428 on Wednesday. Enhancement have seen in Noida’s air quality from some former days and entered in ‘ very poor ’ order from ‘ severe ’ order on Saturday morning also Delhi showed a little enhancement and still remains in ‘ very poor ’ order for last 3- 4 days.

Motor vehicle emigrations are one of the causes of poor air quality. Other causes include wood- burning fires, cow soil cutlet combustion, fires on agrarian land, exhaust from diesel creators, dust from construction spots, burning scrap and illegal artificial conditioning in Delhi.
