Quality reaches a severe category...

On Friday, the National capital reported the Air quality index (AQI) at 425. Their quality reaches a severe category in the city.

According to the system of air quality and weather forecasting and research (SAFAR) said the Air Quality has slipped to the "severe" category.

The capital city is also witnessing dense fog, which has hampered the scenario and made it worse. According to the information, AQI for the National capital region (NCR) like Noida and Gurugram remained critical and very poor with an Air quality index at 570 and 375 respectively.

The AQI between zero to 50 is good, 50-100 is satisfactory, 101-200 is moderate,201 to 300 is poor, 301-400 is very poor, 401 -500 is severe.

Numerous initiatives and campaigns have been implemented in the capital city. With the arrival of the upcoming winter season, this is the common problem faced in Delhi and the NCR region.

City witnesses an incessant pollution rise, which leads to a choked environment and also creates a suffocating environment and other health-related issues. Also, the Environment Minister, Gopal Rai on Thursday informed that 34,000 pollution-related complaints have been received through the green Delhi application so far, out of which 32,000 have been resolved yet.

Knowing in brief about the green Delhi app, it is an application and initiative of the Delhi government to control the pollution level of the city. Helps in reporting an issue and through which issues related to pollution get resolved easily.
