Delhi CM Extends Lockdown Till May 15

Lockdown extended in Delhi


The Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has decided to extend the ongoing lockdown for one more week in the wake of the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the city. This is a hard time for country where National Capital starts collapse in health infrastructure.  Arvind Kejriwal took on social media and wrote that , "Lockdown in Delhi is being extended by one week." On twitter. The lockdown will be now continue till May 15 and restrictions and protocols of covid-19 that were had announced in previous order.


During lockdown as per the order of restrictions, essential necessity services are open such as medicine shops, vegetable shops, groceries etc but shop of owners and customers will have to ensure social distancing for the precautions. For over a fortnight, Delhi has seen a quick high in its Covid-19 cases, concluded in an acute shortage of hospital beds, government acquired school and hotels for Covid patients. Deaths too have mounted and crematorium area is completely pack. For days, hospitals have been reporting of shortage of oxygen and plasma bloods to treat covid patients.
