Delhi Court Grants Bail To Activist Disha Ravi In Toolkit Case

Climate Activist Disha Ravi Granted bail by Delhi Court

Earlier this month Disha Ravi, a 22-year-old climate activist was arrested in a ‘Toolkit’ case. This Tuesday afternoon the Delhi Court’s Additional Session Judge Dharmendra Rana granted her bail, subject to two sureties of one lakh rupees each.

Ms Ravi was accused by the Delhi Police who arrested her last week from her home in Bengaluru along with Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk of collaborating with a pro-Khalistani group for creating a ‘toolkit’ that was allegedly linked to the farmers protest on January 26 to trigger dissatisfaction against the government. The three have been also accused of trying to revive a pro-Khalistani group.
