Scheme to facilitate routine health check-ups!


The Delhi government is in the limelight when it comes to betterment for the society or providing facilities for the people and local public. 

On Monday, The Delhi government announced several welfare schemes for construction workers in the national capital, including mobile health check-ups and creche facilities at construction sites.
According to the information, the ‘Doctor on Wheels’ scheme will be launched to facilitate routine health check-ups. 

Meanwhile, mobile creches for children will be provided so that they can get better day-care facilities with modern services.

As per the information, these two new schemes were announced by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia after chairing a meeting of the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board on Monday.

Furthermore, during the meeting, a discussion was also held on revamping the website of its Construction Labour Welfare Board to provide better and easier access to beneficiaries through an informative and user-friendly website.

The deputy chief minister also said, The Kejriwal government will launch unique mobile creches for children of construction workers at sites; children will get better day-care facilities with modern services now. Despite stalled construction due to Corona and pollution, the Kejriwal Government supported construction workers by providing more than 600 crores as aid. The Kejriwal government is running 17 welfare schemes for construction workers, with the financial assistance of Rs 13 crore given to construction workers last year," Sisodia, who is also the Labour Minister, said after the meeting.
