Delhi Govt. Inaugurates 3 Automated Tracks To Conduct Driving Tests At Night

Test after office Hours!


The Delhi government is nowhere back in imposing facilities, the government has inaugurated three automated driving test tracks at Mayur Vihar, Shakurbasti, and Vishwas Nagar and started night shifts to facilitate office goers residing in the national capital. 

 

As per the information, the Delhi residents no longer have to keep a day aside for their driving licence test and will now be able to take the test after their office hours.

 

The night driving test will be held on the automatic driving test track in slots between 5 pm and 7 pm. Each track can accommodate 45 appointments in a day. The three automated tracks can conduct 135 driving tests daily.

 

The officials conducted a pilot test between April 30 and May 24 during which 2565 test slots were booked in the three locations.

 

The driving tests are closely monitored using 17 cameras of high resolution to capture real-time footage and images. Six servers have been installed to test the videos and maintain transparency in the test results. The result will also be uploaded automatically on the software.

 

Further, 10 CCTV cameras have been installed at all automatic test track centres so that the driving tests are conducted transparently and effectively. The test will inspect 20 essential driving skills under the Motor Vehicle Act. The installation of 12 automatic driving tracks will increase the number of daily appointments to 3000.
